Good price digital frame with 1G internal memoryFirst time buyer, still investigating but so far it looks alright. It has remote and download seems not a problem. THe only thing is that the pic rotation part is not automatic (maybe haven't figured out yet) but everything else seems like a good product with such price and quality. Recommend to buy.

Very nice, and attractiveThis is the fourth 15" digital photo frame I have purchased as gifts for friends and family, and while I liked all of them, this is without a doubt the most attractive of the ones I have seen. When I saw it online, I wasn't all that sold on the white matting to be honest, but the reviews seemed fairly good, the price was reasonable and I've long been a fan of Viewsonic products.
I was really impressed once we got it, and just how smart and attractive the frame was, that white matting added a level of elegance that was kind of surprising to be honest. Not ostentatious, not distracting from the photos themselves, just beautiful and elegant.
The other thing I liked was how fast the frame could switch between photos. With other frames I had had to reduce the file sizes to get away from the lag while loading larger photos, this frame had not problem switching between 3 MB files at all. I did find the controls a bit fiddly, finding a specific picture and then pausing on it seemed harder than it was with the other frames I had, but overall, I wouldn't let that stop me from buying another one.
I did not get a chance to watch a movie on the frame before boxing it back up, in part because I didn't have time to figure out how to select a specific file as mentioned above. Based on how fast if flips between pictures though, I would think that it can play movies from cameras, etc. quite smoothly. Still, I would likely not watch much in the way of movies, this type of thing really just excells as a really nice way to view a lifetime's worth of memories in an easy manner.
For reference, we gave this to my in-laws for their Fortieth Anniversary complete with scans from their family photo albums showing all the kids growing up, etc.

Big DisappointmentI chose this frame due to my experiences with over frames form Kodak. But I surprised to find features that I thought were basic for any digital frame to be absent from this model. Such as any diversity on how to display the frame, A clock that lets you set what time to power the frame and when to turn it off and a brightness control. Also the product boasts a fast USB connection but it still took me over 20 minutes to download 200MB. To top all this off the frame turns itself off after a while I have't found any information regarding this feature and I find veryannoying. So unless you want a frame that has nothing to offer, keep looking. Also one thing regarding Amazon when I started the frame there were a couple a pictures in addition to Kodaks display pictures.

Happy with productI did some research for a digital frame and chose this one based on pro and user reviews.
It works as promised.
Remote is fun but does not always pick up signal (point remote and press the button a few times) other times the remote works perfect.
I thought it was not clear about 'on board' memory. the website says it has some and so does the manual. but i was not able to load pictures onto the on board memory nor find out exactly how much it held.
I wanted this to display my new baby photos (as who could pick a few to print of our little ones esp. since they change so often). the frame works great for this - i do have to say i like that this frame takes so many types of media. i personally just switch out flash sticks when i update the slideshow with new images. i hear from other Amazon reviews that people have issues with the order of the slideshow so i just set the order in the image name and how i put the images onto the memory i leave in the frame.
also - if you use a flash drive, it will stick out of the side of the frame. the SD memory and others are on the back so they are hidden.
good display. overall i'm happy with this. i also like the 4 picture display option - this helps if you have lower res images that look bad blown up.
have not tested the audio/video features.
